AA-R500-SP - Long Range, Hands-Free Asset ID Reader
The AutoAccess Long Range Asset ID Readers are specifically designed for hands-free asset identification, tracking and loss prevention solutions. The AA-R500-SP Asset ID Readers communicate with AAID Tags to capture the presence, identification and location of assets, personnel, and tamper alarm triggered events. They provide long range zone coverage for asset loss prevention, real-time inventory management, and personnel access control, emergency evacuation and mustering.
Hands-Free, Long Range Asset Tags
The AutoAccess series of Radio Frequency Identification Tags can be used to identify and track laptops, office machines, computer systems, tools, telephones, shop equipment, employees and visitors in office buildings, hospitals, retail stores, warehouses, industrial facilities, mines, military installations, etc. Tag to Reader communication is encrypted to prevent Tag cloning, copying or emulation, making AAID Tags ideally suited for high security situations. Tags employ an AutoLocate anti-collision algorithm that allows multiple Tags to be simultaneously identified by a single reader, allowing employees to be matched to individual laptops or assets, shipping pallets matched to merchandise, assets matched to “authorized” locations, drivers matched to specific vehicles or forklifts, trucks matched to Trailers, etc. All AAID Tags employ a custom TamperDetect feature that immediately reports an alarm condition to the Reader if a Tag is illegally removed from a controlled asset.
