AAID Security Solutions was founded in 1999 by Lissa Martin as an OEM Manufacturer and Distributor of AutoAccess long range, hands-free Vehicle Identification, Asset/Personnel Tracking and Emergency Evacuation/Mustering Systems based on Wavetrend RFID technology. Pete Martin joined AAID as Vice President of Operations in 2002 and was promoted to President in 2006. AAID is now a member of the Vuance Group.
The AutoAccessä product line consists of Readers, Tags, Antennas, Custom Software, Access Control Panels, Tag Mounting Devices, Power Supplies and accessories, which AAIDä sells to Installing Dealers, Wholesale Distributors, Vertical Market Systems Integrators and Private Label Strategic Partners. In addition, AAIDä provides consulting services and application design assistance to End Users, Architects and Security Consultants.
Vehicle ID Security Gate Control applications include airports, military bases, nuclear power plants, gated residential communities, trucking terminals, employee parking lots, bus transit fleets, seaports, hospitals, government facilities, single family homes and motorcycle/go-cart race tracks.
Vehicle ID “Revenue Control” applications include airport taxi and shuttle bus management, parking lots, toll roads/bridges and electronic vehicle registration systems.
Asset and Personnel Identifications, Management and Tracking applications include employee/visitor “mustering”, facility evacuation monitoring, hospital equipment tracking, laptop and office equipment loss prevention, logistics management, retail theft reduction, time and attendance, and hands-free access control.
AAID operates out of offices in Peachtree City, GA and has provided Wavetrend RFID equipment to over 2,000 commercial, government and residential facilities through an extensive Installing Dealer network throughout North and South America and the Caribbean.
